Our Mission - Empowering people to better health

IHA now provides a Health Literacy Rewrite and Redesign Service to make your health education materials easier to use and more understandable to your patients...Our "What To Do For Health" book series features easy-to-read and use healthcare information on caring for yourself and your loved ones ... We produce an annual continuing education Health Literacy Conference for healthcare professionals and educators to teach them about health literacy, the latest research, and how to improve their patient education ... As part of our services, we provide direct healthcare delivery in our community clinic using a unique model at the Friends of Children Health Center ... Outreach and social services are delivered to the community through our La Habra Family Resource Center, including direct counseling, home visits, insurance assistance, case management, referrals and education.
